Wires Silhouette Soft 12 Cones

Silhouette Soft are the two-way sutures completely reabsorbable for tissue lifting and collagen regeneration in different areas of the face and body. The action of Silhouette Soft is twofold:

• Lifting of the tissues of the malar area and the eyebrow, reshaping the jaw line and neck for a natural and immediate effect. The results are immediately visible thanks to the modeling of the area and the traction carried out according to the needs and desires of the patient;

• Regeneration of the tissues of the treated area for a gradual and lasting result. Thanks to the gradual resorption of polylactic acid (PLA), collagen is restored to give greater definition to features, maintaining the volume effect over time.

How does that work
The Silhouette Soft suture is composed of a polylactic acid thread of length from 30 cm to 26.8 cm depending on the type of Soft Silhouette used, on which are placed eight l-lactic cones (Polylactic Acid and Glycolic Acid 82-18) interspersed with knots.

The cones are arranged in two series oriented in opposite directions towards the ends of the wire, in order to obtain effective traction.
The central part of the wire, without cones, measures 2 cm and is bordered by 2 nodes equidistant from the center of the wire.
Soft Silhouettes are the only traction wires with reabsorbable cones.

THE TREATMENT WITH SOFT SILHOUETTE.
Treatments with Silhouette Soft are performed in the medical clinic and are very fast, about 30 minutes. The treatment requires little anesthesia at the points of entry and exit of the needles of the suture.

Before proceeding to treatment, the doctor proceeds to the pre-treatment drawing that helps to identify the path of the sutures on each side of the face following a certain pattern. The entry point from which both needles and two exit points will be inserted are identified, from each of which one of the two needles will be released.

THE SUTURE PLANT.
After disinfecting the area to be treated, the inlet hole is created with an 18G needle, supplied together with silhouette soft sutures. You then move on to insert the first needle at the entry point and pass it into the subcute. The needle is inserted into the adipose tissue at a depth of about 5 mm. The needle is let out of the first exit point along with the suture.

By making a slight traction of the suture, the cones are passed from the entry point. When all the cones have been inserted the tensile phase is finished and the installation of the second end of the suture is carried out.

The second needle is inserted at the same entry point as the first, but in the opposite direction to the first. The needle is let out of the predetermined exit point and by making a slight traction of the suture the cones are let in until the suture is completely implanted.

COMPRESSION OF ADIPOSE TISSUE.
Once you have inserted all the Silhouette Soft suture into the undercut, you proceed to the modeling phase of the treated area.
A slight pressure of the skin is carried out and at the same time the ends of the suture are pulled out of the skin to allow the cones to better adhere to the subcutaneous tissue and maintain the compression effect.
Once the traction of the fat tissue is obtained, the excess suture that comes out of the skin is cut.

POST-TREATMENT.
Treatment does not typically involve post-operative pain, but painkillers can be prescribed if necessary.
During the first week of treatment the patient should not undergo: dental interventions, massages, aesthetic facial treatments and must avoid performing physical activity that involves physical contact. It is advisable to sleep in a supine position.

PLANTING TECHNIQUES.
Silhouette Soft sutures can be implanted with different techniques depending on the result you want to achieve and the area to be treated.

LINEAR PATTERNS
Used for the repositioning of cheekbones and for the treatment of the neck.

OBTUSE ANGLE PATTERN
They are ideal for the improvement of specific areas, for example they bring a greater definition of the mandibular line.

PATTERN A V AND PATTERN A U
They allow optimal anchoring and strong traction. The V-shaped technique is indicated in the treatment of thin skin; while the U-turn technique is particularly suitable for thick fabrics. Both patterns are mainly used in the middle third of the face.
